About Little Leaps
Little Leaps Play Café is an imaginative indoor play café designed for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups. Our space is calm, welcoming, and safety-focused; a place where children can explore freely while parents relax, connect, and enjoy quality time together.
We are a small, local business opening soon in Leander, TX, and we're looking for kind, reliable team members to become part of the Little Leaps family.
The Role
About the Role
This is a multifaceted, hands-on role in a play café environment that will allow you to build and develop valuable skill sets for your career. Team members create a positive experience for families by checking in customers, supervising play, preparing coffee and other drinks, cleaning, and assisting with birthday parties. Flexibility, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and comfort working around young children are essential.
Responsibilities
- Greet families and create a warm first impression
- Assist with check-in and answer basic questions
- Supervise play areas and support safety rules
- Prepare coffee and drinks
- Clean and reset the space throughout the day
- Support birthday parties (setup, hosting support, cleanup)
- Answer phones and assist with basic inquiries

Qualities
- A person who is punctual, positive, and personable
- Willingness to learn
Requirements
- Comfortable working around young children (ages 0-5)
- Strong customer service mindset, ability to enforce rules with kindness
- Willingness to help where needed in a small team
- Weekend availability (especially for birthday parties)
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the business for hours at a time
- Ability to lift 25-30lbs (party equipment, cleaning supplies, etc)
Bonus (not required):
- Barista experience (will train)
- Childcare or early childhood experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Compensation
$13/hr + tips (based on experience)
